About the firm

Three generations on Miami's waterfront.

Thania and Robert Vernon are not advisors who moved to Miami to sell real estate. They are the people the island has known for decades.

The heritage

Vernon's Drugstore. Crandon Boulevard. 1951.

In 1951, the Vernon family opened a drugstore on Crandon Boulevard in Key Biscayne. Three generations later, it is still there.

The island has changed considerably since then. The causeways, the condominiums, the Ritz-Carlton, the families who arrived from Caracas and Bogotá and New York. All of it unfolded in front of the same storefront. Robert Vernon grew up behind that counter, watching the community take shape. He eventually became its mayor.

That history is not a marketing line. It is the reason the firm knows things that do not appear in search results: which properties are quietly available, which sellers are ready to move, which buildings have issues that are not in the listing.

The principals

Thania & Robert Vernon

Thania Vernon · Senior Broker Advisor · Co-Owner

Thania has worked in Miami residential real estate for nearly thirty-five years, building her practice in the neighborhoods she knows personally — Key Biscayne, Coral Gables, Coconut Grove. Her approach is direct and unhurried: honest counsel, a limited number of clients at a time, and relationships managed the way the work deserves. Her clients consistently describe the same experience — easier than they expected, better than they had hoped.

Robert "Buzz" Vernon · Broker Associate · Co-Owner

Robert is a third-generation Key Biscayne resident. Vernon's Drugstore has been a Crandon Boulevard institution since 1951, and Robert served as mayor of the Village of Key Biscayne. Today he manages the master associations for the Ritz-Carlton Residences and Grand Bay Residences — direct, current knowledge of inventory, ownership, and market movement that no database captures. The island knows him. He knows it. That is difficult to replicate.

The way we work

We keep the firm small intentionally.

Clients work directly with us, not with a rotating team of associates. Every showing, every negotiation, every closing is handled by the principals.

We listen first. We give honest counsel. We do not chase volume, and we do not represent every buyer or seller who calls. The relationships we take on are the ones we believe we can serve well for the long term.

Discretion is part of the work. So is patience. The right home, the right buyer, the right timing — these things take real attention. We try to give every client exactly that.

The invitation

A conversation is the first step.

There is no pressure and no obligation. Most of our clients arrive by referral, and the best relationships we have built started exactly this way.
